Socks, tights, legwarmers and ankle warmers are still manufactured in our factory, on Bentley Comet knitting machines.
As with so many British manufactured products, in the last 20 years, cheaper imported goods have taken over the market in hosiery leaving very few hosiery companies left producing hosiery as we still do today.
Our sock machines run daily between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. A special viewing area is provided for customers to see our knitting machines producing socks and legwarmers from bobbins of assorted yarns.
